I was walking into a cafe a few mornings back when some unfamiliar song on the radio caught my attention.
It went "..Like Magic Sharks that fill the sky.."
I haven't had my coffee yet, so I probably heard the lyrics wrong.
Anyway, that phrase got me thinking up some image of a surreal sea of Magic Sharks.
I can imagine them cutting through waves with their magical dorsal fin,
devouring fish with their magical cartilaginous rows of teeth.
Though, I haven't the slightest idea of what they look like.
and by the time the coffee kicked in, the Magic Sharks had come and gone.
They probably swam off to someone else's caffeine free mind..
"We are most vulnerable to Magic Sharks during sleep.
They swarm by the hundreds, tracing just along the fragile border of our consciousness.
The slightest disturbance could send them into a frenzy
I held my breath.."
I'm sure Magic Sharks is a metaphor for something. Either that, or I'm insane
